Connect Yogi MCP with ChatGPT Web

This guide will walk you through how to connect your Yogi account to ChatGPT Web using the Yogi MCP, which enables you to ask questions about your customer feedback data in natural language, within the AI tools you already work in.

  • With the Yogi MCP, your AI tool can access your Yogi data and interact with your customer feedback data.

Install the Yogi MCP on ChatGPT Web

Yogi connects to ChatGPT on Business and Enterprise/Edu plans, on the web only — not in the mobile app. Custom apps are managed at the workspace level: an admin or owner must enable developer mode, create the Yogi app, and publish it before anyone else can use it. Once published, members connect their own Yogi accounts individually, and after you've authenticated, your credentials are saved automatically for future sessions.

  1. Go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings.

  2. Switch on Developer mode.

Admin steps:

  1. From Workspace settings, go to Apps → Create.

  2. Enter a name: Yogi

  3. Enter the server URL: https://api.meetyogi.com/mcp

  4. Choose OAuth as the authentication method.

  5. Click Scan Tools and wait. A sign-in window opens — log in to Yogi and authorize.

  6. Wait for the scan to finish, then click Create. Yogi now appears as a draft. Only you can see it at this point.

  1. Test then publish:

    1. Open a new chat, pick the Yogi draft app from the tools menu, and try a question to confirm it works.

    2. When you're happy, go to Workspace Settings → Apps → Drafts and click Publish.

Once published, Yogi shows up in everyone's Apps settings with a custom label.

Individual user steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Apps and find Yogi.

  2. Click to connect, then sign in to Yogi and authorize.

  3. In any chat, select Yogi from the tools menu — or just mention it in your prompt — and ask away.
